JobFitAI Data Deletion Request

This page explains how users can delete data stored by JobFitAI and how to request deletion of any identifiable server-side records that may be linked to app usage.

1. Local Data Stored on Your Device

JobFitAI stores most user-created data locally on your device, including:

  • Career profile details
  • Saved resumes, CVs, cover letters, and job match results
  • Template choices
  • Rewarded-ad generation credits and temporary template unlocks
  • App settings and preferences

2. How to Delete Local Data

You can delete locally stored data in any of these ways:

  1. Open JobFitAI.
  2. Go to Settings, if available.
  3. Use Clear Local Data, Delete Saved Documents, or similar deletion options.

You can also delete local app data from Android settings:

  1. Open your device Settings.
  2. Go to Apps.
  3. Select JobFitAI.
  4. Open Storage.
  5. Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage.

Uninstalling the app may also remove locally stored app data from your device.

3. Request Server-Side Data Deletion

JobFitAI does not offer Google sign-in, paid accounts, subscriptions, or cloud sync. However, anonymous authentication, AI request processing, advertising, analytics, crash reporting, support emails, or backend logs may create limited technical records.

In your message, include any details that may help us locate your request, such as the email address you used to contact support. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information.

4. Data That Can Be Deleted

  • Local career profile and saved documents when you clear app data or delete them in the app
  • Identifiable support messages you sent to us, where applicable
  • Identifiable server-side records we can reasonably locate and delete, where applicable

5. Data That May Be Kept

Some data may be retained where deletion is not possible or not required, including:

  • Anonymous, aggregated, or de-identified data
  • Security, fraud-prevention, crash, analytics, advertising, or diagnostic records retained by service providers according to their policies
  • Records required for legal, safety, or abuse-prevention reasons

6. Retention Period

Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Server-side deletion requests will be reviewed and handled within a reasonable period. Some service-provider records may remain according to their own retention policies.
